ode to high school- part 1- haiku

bio diploma.
sledding helped to ease the stress.
fifty-three percent.

i'm headed back to the north country.

come on home Lisa Brown. you been rambling too long. lay your head and weary bones down. come on home Lisa Brown. I hear your mama callin' you. she feels she knows what to do. she says its time you westward bound. so come on home Lisa Brown. you hung your head in the cold Gaspe. i guess thats the way it oughta be. then you headed out to the old east coast cause, thats the life you love the most. may find yourself in Mexico. that may be the way to go. sweet senior tequila too. your younger days are leaving you. look further on down the road. the story must be told. and there'll be those who fret and frown if you come on home Lisa Brown.
you been rambling too long. so get on home, come on home, git yerself back, Lisa Brown.

oh I love the Rankin Family.

and maybe i am exaggerating, and only been away from home for one year, but I'm just a little girl! and I love my sweet Alberta prairie soil. forever and ever amen.
today i applied to Grant Macewan.. for what you ask? TRAVEL. ya, travel. (i could be a travel agent.. among other things.) wtf is my problem. mid-life crisis i guess you could say. quarter life. I just wanna stay close(r) to home. Please don't anyone take it personal if i don't go back to Hawaii. Pleaaaaase.

anyways. I hope the Research Station calls me back and gives me a freakin job. I think I am driving my mother up the wall with my crazy antics (sleeping in 'till noon is awesome). I've only been home a week MOTHER. let me catch up first!
anyways.. later skaterz
